 Facing our challenges head-on!
Challenges Women Face

April 25, 2017

Dear Julie:

I am a small town country girl. My first husband died with cancer when he was 32, I was 28. I went on with my life, and met a guy, whom I had previous relations with, and he had gotten out of prison for child molestation. I went to church all the time, and felt I shouldn’t judge him for his prison thing, and gave him a chance, of love.

The first five years were good. After the money was depleted, I had a child (which I thought I couldn’t have any anyway) who was a gift from God! Then after our child, he started doing drugs and chasing women, and it was a bumpy ride for many years. I lost my job, and stayed home to raise our child through school. He is Autistic and has issues in development skills.

I help my parents every day, and help take care of my 98 year-old grandmother, and do everything around here! On Thanksgiving of 2014, I told him, I was going to cook for my family, the old people, and for him to come. He yelled and screamed, wanting more pills. Then he texted me saying that he wanted a divorce. When I didn’t go back, he took our kid, and filed for divorce and took up with different women, all the time,

I finally got my divorce and have our child now who is 14. I take care of everyone here, on a daily basis while my ex-husband lies and carries on with women.  I try not to be mean about this situation, but I seem to have a hard time getting him out of our life! Our son cries for a real father, and I tell him he is God, and Jesus! We go to church, and pray together, but I need many prayers to get this individual to leave us alone!

In the beginning, I felt bad for him and really never thought he had done bad things to kids, but the truth came out. Not only did he do that to other kids, but he did things to our son! I am asking for the Lord to help me, get him out of our life, so I can move on!!, I am scared for my family, as he has told people he would kill us all! No one believes us, and we live in fear all the time! Our dog was poisoned last week, and the vet asked if there was anyone out to get me? Please pray for all us!! I hope and pray you can give me some words of advice. –Needing Advice

Dear Needing Advice:

Do you have a restraining order out on him? If not, you must do so right away. This will alert authorities and they will keep an eye out for you. You and your loved ones are all in danger. Don’t believe another thing this liar tells you. Get the restraining order, good locks on your doors, watch your back. This man is a menace. He needs to be reported for the things he is doing to children. That ought to put him behind bars and give you some breathing space. Pray pray pray that God will put a hedge of protection around you and your family. I especially worry about your son who has enough problems without his dad making things worse. God bless you, dear one. I’m asking our readers to join me in prayer and to offer any suggestions they have that could help.

God bless. Julie
