 Facing our challenges head-on!
Challenges Women Face

July 19, 2016

Dear Julie:

I am a 32 year old woman with three children. I am currently involved with a married man. I know that this relationship is wrong, but it’s very hard for me to detach myself.

I didn’t come from a broken home, my father was and is currently active in my life. I had a very bad relationship with my children’s father. He was verbally and physically abusive. That relationship ended with me going to jail for defending myself. Since then I find myself involved with men who I know are involved with someone else. –Needing Help
Dear Needing Help:

I don’t care how hard it is for you–detach yourself from this married man. You know it’s wrong, both for the man’s family as well as for your own. Your three kids need you to provide an example they can follow.

The past is past. With your father’s help, move on into your future. Get some Christian counseling. Meet with your pastor and his wife. Learn how to live your life God’s way. That’s where you’ll find true purpose and meaning.

God bless you. Julie
