Facing our challenges head-on!
Challenges Women Face

August 28, 2017

Dear Julie:

Please pray for my boyfriend. Pray for him so he could cooperate with me, respect me, and especially change his life to God, to be a Christian. –Needing Prayer

Dear Needing Prayer:

I am honored to pray for you. I’m praying that God will bless you with wisdom and grace to know what to do. That He will impress on you the importance of settling these issues before you EVER think of marrying this boyfriend. If your boyfriend doesn’t cooperate with you or respect you now, be assured he won’t once you’re married.

Think long and hard before you tie yourself down to someone who does not follow God. 2 Corinthians 6:14-16 says “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.”

May God bless you with confidence that he has a plan for your future. Jeremiah 29:11 says “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

And, as you requested, I’m praying for your boyfriend to desire the peace and joy that you have and that he will seek answers that will lead him directly to Jesus, repenting of his sin and desiring to walk the rest of his life together with his Savior and Lord.

In His love, Julie
