She was willing to hear my story... told her friend she figured she would hear nothing new.

We talked for 40 minutes the first time. She had two semesters left of college, boyfriend was not there for her - stepfather would probably kick her out of the house..... Did it hurt when I had an abortion? Did I have any symptoms now? Was I concerned about long term health problems? She had an appointment set for an abortion in three days. She said I could call her again.

The next day, equipped with information from the local Pregnancy Resource Center, I shared with her that it's not neccesary that she decide NOW whether to parent or adopt - only whether to end her childs life or not....

When she heard that we had a place for her to live if needed - she said, "That's it then, I was already afraid that I could not go through with it, now I don't have to"

I offered to take her to the Pregnancy Resource Center, would pick her up early so we could have coffee... she said, "Do you think I should be drinking coffee?" Praise God!

Thanks so much, Julie. 2 Cor.1:3-4 are my life verses. Over and over God's comforted me in my pain and then I, in turn have been able to pass His comfort along to others. No better way to bring good out of evil.
