Facing our challenges head-on!
Challenges Women Face

May 30, 2017

Dear Julie:

I can relate to falling into the same sin which is smoking cigarettes and dealing with my children’s father. He doesn’t mean me any good but I always let him back in because he acts as if he’s changed. But he hasn’t–his behavior is the same. He asked me to marry him and I wanted to but deep down inside I know I would be making the worst mistake of my life.

I do love him but I’m sick of him. He’s selfish and he doesn’t provide like a man of God is supposed to. All he wants to do is grumble. I’m so sick of it. I pray that he truly come to know JESUS Christ and be delivered and set free from the bondage of the enemy. I need guidance from the Lord Jesus Christ for what to do in this situation. I went and regained custody of our son, and he’s mad but he wasn’t taking care of my son. It’s sad. Jesus Christ I need your help in every area of my life. –Falling

Dear Falling:

You are very wise. Do not marry this man or allow him back into your family until he has proven to you that he has changed first. Once you’re married, you’re bound to him. “Father God, please help my sister be strong. Give her Your wisdom and discernment. Guide her each step of the way as she leans on you for strength. Lead her in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. Help her grow so in love with you and your ways that she will flee from those who are in bondage to the enemy. Thank you, Father. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen”
