I’m in the church, he is not,…but I’m praying for him but God knows I’m lost..what am I to do now .. I need feedback and guidance. –Sign Me Lost

Dear Lost: I’m so sorry for your obvious pain. Your husband has turned his back on his marriage vows and appears to be more interested in greener pastures than in being a man deserving of respect. Marriage counseling would be ideal, but if he won’t agree to that, I suggest you go yourself for Christian counseling from your pastor or someone he recommends.

Continue to pray for your husband because he certainly is on a path leading nowhere. And don’t give up–I’ve heard of others in your same boat who have witnessed amazing transformations once God got hold of their spouse. Nothing is impossible with God.

I honor your commitment to try to make your marriage work and to provide a stable home for your children. Focus on them right now because they certainly must be hurting as well. Even though your husband has chosen to take the low road, for your kids’ sake, choose the high road. Show them what a strong and courageous mother they have. Give them something to admire and set an example of one who keeps her word. They need to be able to trust and, right now, they can’t trust their father.

I’m asking our readers to join me in praying for you and to offer helpful suggestions from their own experiences. God bless you.
